{"id":245,"date":"2011-08-30T08:43:46","date_gmt":"2011-08-30T08:43:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.port-de-pontrieux.fr\/beta\/?page_id=245"},"modified":"2022-06-28T17:53:43","modified_gmt":"2022-06-28T17:53:43","slug":"water-quality","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/port-de-roanne.fr\/en\/a-respectful-port\/a-voluntary-environmental-approach\/water-quality\/","title":{"rendered":"Water Quality"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"qualite-eaux\">WATER QUALITY<\/h1>\n<p>Preserving water quality in the port of Roanne is a daily commitment. <a href=\"https:\/\/port-de-roanne.fr\/en\/the-harbourmasters-office\/harbourmasters-office-at-your-service\/\">Contact the harbour master\u2019s office<\/a> for details of the services available for collecting your bilge water, wastewater etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>STOP POLLUTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not discharge used oil into the water or the sanitation network!<\/li>\n<li>Service your boat engine and have it inspected regularly.<\/li>\n<li>Clean the bottom of your bilges and use special biodegradable products.<\/li>\n<li>Install filters to separate pollutants from the boat\u2019s bilge water, changing the filter cartridge when it is saturated.<\/li>\n<li>Give preference to environmentally-friendly products (certified paints, maintenance and bodily hygiene products etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Wash cars and boats using a brush rather than cleaning products.<\/li>\n<li>Read product labels and give preference to products that are more than 90% biodegradable.<\/li>\n<li>Do not wash or paint boats or any other objects within the port.<\/li>\n<li>Do not discharge bilge water containing hydrocarbons, oils and metal residues into the port!\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WASTEWATER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Discharging wastewater (black or grey water) directly into the port is PROHIBITED.<\/p>\n<p>On the quayside, you can use the toilet blocks and facilities provided.<\/p>\n<p>Washing crockery or clothes on the pontoons is PROHIBITED!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WATER QUALITY Preserving water quality in the port of Roanne is a daily commitment.
