THE GREEN HABITS TO ADOPT
To improve quality of life in the Port of Roanne, a code of environmental conduct has been introduced.
VISITORS UNDERTAKE TO RESPECT THE LIFE OF THE PORT BY:
- Preserving the boat-owners’ peace and quiet
 - Following the appropriate guidelines
 - Respecting the safety instructions
 - Preserving the water, without swimming
 - Not throwing anything into the water
 
BOAT-OWNERS UNDERTAKE TO PRESERVE THEIR LIVING ENVIRONMENT BY:
- Keeping the site clean,
 - Disposing of waste in the sorting bins to enable waste recycling and
 
preserve our natural resources (less use of raw materials)
- Collecting and treating your boat’s bilge water and wastewater
 
to avoid any discharge into the natural environment (pollution, unpleasant smells and sights…)
- Collecting and treating your hazardous waste, waste oil etc.
 - Following all the environmental and safety instructions
 - Avoiding any discharge into the water
 - Not throwing anything into the water
 - Reporting any pollution to port staff
 - Using and taking care of the facilities provided
