Roanne’s hiking paths offer 42 marked circuits across a network stretching 1108 km. You will love the richness and contrast of the landscapes in Europe’s biggest forest, 800 metres above sea level. Set off to explore the banks of the Loire (the Gravière aux Oiseaux nature reserve) or the canal towpath.
A bike hire service, with all the equipment you will need (helmets etc.) is available at the harbour master’s office for port users and visitors.
